Terms and Conditions of Bond Drainage and Plumbing Limited.
1. Introduction
These Terms and Conditions outline the agreement between Bond Drainage and Plumbing Limited and clients regarding the provision of plumbing, drainage, CCTV survey & patch/lining repairs, and groundwork services for both commercial and domestic properties. This includes the supply of necessary materials and products.
By booking a service with Bond Drainage and Plumbing Limited you agree to these terms. This agreement remains in effect from the moment the booking is confirmed until the completion of the service and full payment is received.
2. Types of Services
Emergency Services: Immediate assistance with an engineer dispatched to address urgent issues, with repairs conducted on-site where possible.
Scheduled Services: Non-urgent services booked in advance, with a confirmed date and time for an engineer’s visit.
3. Estimates and Payment
Written Estimates: A 50% deposit is required upon acceptance of an estimate. The balance is due in full upon service completion.
Emergency Services: Full payment may be required upfront. If not, payment is due immediately upon completion.
Payment Methods: We accept credit/debit cards, on-site payment devices, and bank transfers (instant transfer only). Cash is also accepted, but cheques are not.
Invoice Terms: Payment terms are agreed upon before service commencement, with options for immediate, 14-day, 30-day payments. A late fee of £60 applies every 10 days if the balance remains unpaid. If an invoice remains outstanding for 30 days without client communication, Bond Drainage and Plumbing Limited may:
Engage debt collection services (all costs passed to the client).
Take legal action via Small Claims Court (additional legal costs borne by the client).
4. Service Completion and Reporting
Upon service completion, clients receive a detailed report, including:
Description of repairs
Investigation findings
Further recommendations
Hourly rate and material costs
Photos of completed work
Final cost breakdown (including VAT)
A charge of up to 15 minutes may apply for report and invoice preparation.
5. Company Rates
Drainage Services
Monday - Friday (8:00 AM - 5:00 PM): £140/hour (plus VAT)
Monday - Friday (5:00 PM - 5:00 AM): £180/hour (plus VAT)
Weekend Rate: £180/hour (plus VAT)
Plumbing Services
Monday - Friday (8:00 AM - 5:00 PM): £120/hour (plus VAT)
Monday - Friday (5:00 PM - 5:00 AM): £160/hour (plus VAT)
Weekend Rate: £160/hour (plus VAT)
Leak Detection
Monday - Friday (8:00 AM - 5:00 PM): £150/hour (plus VAT)
CTV Survey Services
Fixed Cost (Monday - Sunday): £250 (plus VAT)
Outer London Boundaries
A call-out fee applies for work beyond the M25, covering travel up to 100 miles. Additional charges apply for distances beyond 100 miles.
Note: Rates may vary on bank holidays, during Christmas/New Year, or under national lockdown restrictions.
6. Additional Engineers
If a second engineer is required, the client will be notified of the cost. Written or verbal authorization is required before proceeding.
7. Health and Safety
Client compliance with safety instructions is mandatory. Non-compliance releases Bond Drainage and Plumbing Limited from liability for any related incidents.

9. Contractual Terms
Emergency Services: The contract is binding once you accept the rates and agree to the call-out.
Scheduled Services: The contract is binding once you accept the written estimate and pay the 50% deposit.
10. Parking and Associated Charges
If on-site parking is unavailable, our engineers may have to park in restricted areas. Any fines incurred will be the client’s responsibility. Typical fines include:
Red Route: £160 (£130 if paid within 14 days)
Bus Lane: £160 (£130 if paid within 14 days)
Double Yellow: £130 (£65 if paid within 14 days)
Single Yellow: £130 (£65 if paid within 14 days)
Congestion charges are excluded from this policy.
11. Cancellation Policy
Clients are liable for any services performed or goods supplied before cancellation.
Full payment is required if services and goods have been provided before cancellation.
Refunds for unperformed services or undelivered goods will be processed within 14 days.
12. Charges and Services
Emergency Services: Charged based on time and materials, with a minimum one-hour charge. Subsequent time is charged in 15-minute intervals.
Service Standards: All services are delivered professionally with high-quality materials.
Materials: A 25% markup applies to all materials purchased by Bond Drainage and Plumbing Limited
Collection of Materials: If an engineer must leave the site to collect materials, a charge applies for up to 40 minutes. If away for longer, charges pause until return.
13. No Guarantee Circumstances
No guarantees are provided for:
Waste or drainage blockages (once cleared, future blockages are not covered).
Services performed contrary to our professional advice.
Services conducted on poorly maintained installations or appliances.
Damage caused by fractured or frozen pipes.

15. Privacy Policy

Bond Drainage and Plumbing Limited is not liable for damages, losses, or claims resulting from the client’s failure to follow professional advice on recommended services or materials.
17. Amendments
Bond Drainage and Plumbing Limited reserves the right to update these Terms and Conditions at any time. By using our services, you agree to these terms in full.
